The first text formatting site I'm looking at is this site, Blogger.com. I would say that this site is a brilliant site to begin blogging on. I find the site very user-friendly and easy to navigate around without too much difficulty. You can register and start your own customised blog displaying text, images and video. You can gather readers, follow other blogs and be updated when new stuff is added. Blogger also caters for 41 different languages and can be accessed via mobile phones. Links and directions are clearly illustrated with bright, bold symbols and the site is nice and colourful.
The next one I chose to check out is Wordpress. Wordpress appears to be more advanced and impressive. It has all of the features of above plus an option to pay for a premium account. You can download widgets to help you build your page and I think this site gives you more control over your readers and the information you wish/do not wish them to be able to access. It caters for more languages. The look of this site is very professional compared to the first one - there is more text and less images.
